PRESS RELEASE: Mondy 25 th April 2005
Senior Grade Training In Wales
May bank holiday weekend is not the best date to host a training course; however, this was the only date available in our calendar for Sensei Tom Beardsley to put our seniors through their paces.
Around twenty five brown and black belts turned up for the training with the UK Chief instructor, they were not disappointed! The course content covered our grading syllabus and then swiftly moved on to pad work and extensive use of Ushiro geri. Sensei tom explained and demonstrated the difference between a basic kick performed in the line out and the technique needed to execute a back kick in reality.
All in all the entire course was a great success and sensei Tom would like to thank sensei Jim Whittington and all Welsh students for their hospitality and is looking forward to his next visit to Samurai Wales later this year.
